About Christopher
Master
Magician Christopher Bontjes grew up in a magical household and
attended his first magic convention at the age of six months. He
began performing in shows with his family at age 4 and has been studying and
performing magic and entertaining audiences ever since.
With over 40 years spent honing his skills, Christopher is truly a master magician and entertainer. Magical presentations
are enhanced through engaging stories, the inclusion of audience members
on stage, and the engagement of the entire audience in the performance
of the magic. Christopher's shows are received with applause, gasps
of amazement, expressions of wonder and awe, and large doses of
laughter.
Christopher has performed and lectured across the
United States including appearances on television, performances at trade shows, sporting events, banquets and private parties as well as local and international
magicians' conventions.
He is a charter life-member of the Society of American
Magicians (SAM), and a mentor for the Society of Young Magicians. He is also a member ofthe International Brotherhood
of Magicians and the Magic Circle (England's most prestigious magician's organization) holding the rank of Member, Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star (their highest level of membership).
He served as National President of the SAM in 2012-2013. He is a recipient
of a Presidential Citation from the SAM for his service to magic and of the SAM "Alliance of Harry Houdini Award."
